Neal Bennets is a specialist flyfishing guide who has lived and fished the Upper Murray and Snowy Mountains rivers and lakes for over 35 years. He has also exclusive access to wilderness waters, previously closed to anglers and guides.

As an accredited member of the PFIGA I guide anglers of all levels of experience on our local rivers and their tributaries here in the Upper Murray. This area is nestled in the foothills of the southern side of the Snowy Mountains and we fish streams in both Victoria and NSW. I also take up to 2 anglers in my raft on a day, and half day trips on the Swampy Plains, The Mitta and the Indi or Upper Murray Rivers.

Most of my clients are fly fishers but increasingly lure fishermen are finding the raft can get them where they cannot access themselves. I enjoy flyfishing lakes, rivers and streams during the day but find the tranquility that comes with the evening rise fishing is very special to me. I get really out of control, however, when I fish the very small difficult to access strams.
